Cereals

In cereal production, the composition of weed species is highly diverse. Weeds can reduce grain yield by 30 - 70 % in winter cereals and by 10 - 30 % in summer cereals. Late treat-ments in spring often result in significant yield losses or emergence problems in subsequent rapeseed crops. High weed pres-sure also increases costs due to harvest difficulties and the need for cleaning and dry-ing harvested grain. With SAM-DIMENSION spot-spray maps, weeds can be treated with pinpoint accuracy, increasing yield potential.
